If you are behind something, you are at the back of it.
They parked the motorcycle behind some bushes.
Just behind the cottage there was a shed.
Be Careful!
Don't use 'of' after behind. Don't say, for example, 'They parked the motorcycle behind of some bushes'.
If a project is behind schedule, it is completed later than planned or expected.
The project is several months behind schedule.
