There are 33 morphologically recognized cattle populations in the country (http://dad.fao.org/: accessed January 04, 2017) which are classified into
humpless Shorthorn, zebu (large East-African zebu, small East-African zebu), zenga and sanga types [12].
The nine students enrolled in the seminar were divided into two groups, the first of which examined the conservation status of guanaco (
humpless camels in southern Argentina) and assessed the threats caused by livestock and ranching activities, as well as the sensitivity of the region to climate linkages such as El Nino.
Generally, the crosses (Borgou) are normally heavier at maturity than their
humpless parental stock, but lighter than their humped parental stock, which was explicitly depicted in their carcass characteristics in this study.
