The new album Age Of The Ego is out a month on release so expect a few
newies as well as the classic Crazy P vibes.
Once we got past the massive potholes on their driveway - which must put a lot of people off - and a barmaid who was more interested in serving the locals than '
newies', we ended up having an excellent lunch.
One of those
newies provoked the biggest response of the evening - Baby I Want That Man, screamed Debs - "Me, me, me, me, me," hollered the hordes of lustful men packed tight down the front!
But Johnny's not shy about showing off all the oldies as well as the
newies, which is why the East Village Arts Club was packed out, ceilings dripping with sweat, reviewers balancing precariously on a balustrade to peer over a balcony.
There are some
newies here too, but for me it's the likes of Call The Shots, Untouchable and Bilogy that stand out - as well as, of course, The Promise.
Other
newies come from Conor Maynard with his second single Vegas Girl in at six while Karmin is a new entry at four with Brokenhearted.
It's a treat for ballet lovers and a great introduction to
newies.
But
newies like Super Mario 3D Land and Kid Icarus sparkle.
He said: "What we hope to do is continue bringing a selection of legends,
newies and people who are also legendary in their own arena but not perhaps to the broad public, from the world of jazz and blues and world music alongside the great popular names of today."
The fans seemed to prefer to take their comfort breaks during the
newies!
Newies like the current single, the impressive Impatience, and back to the disco Lethal Enforcer from the latest album Brain Thrust Mastery wowed the crowd still further.
