LODHRAN -- An announcement was made to start a new bus service in place of Speedo Bus Service but following the closure of Speedo Bus Service, Urban Transport Service between Lodhran and Bahawalpur was also shut down and now people have to travel by motor rickshaws.

BAHAWALPUR -- The Punjab government has discontinued the operation of the Speedo bus service between Bahawalpur and Lodhran much to the annoyance of the public.

'It has also been decided that the card system for Speedo bus service should be ended.

Passengers will be able to travel on the Speedo bus by sampling paying fares," the sources added.

During the meeting, it was decided to increase the scope of Speedo buses to remote areas of southern Punjab to provide relief to people living there.
