Blaisdell commanded a succession of Lord's ships for the next thirty years, eventually accumulating sufficient capital from his wages ($20 per month) and, more important, from primage (10 percent of the vessels' licight receipts) to become a minority owner in several vessels.

These series relate to all merchandise imports excluding specie and gold and the duties include dumping and countervailing and primage duties but they exclude minor revenue duties (4) and they are net of refunds and drawback.
